Red Limo Quartet

Ooit speelden ze als onderdeel van Kyteman Orchestra op alle grote podia van Nederland, tot aan de mainstage van Pinkpop en Lowlands. Daarna volgden ontelbaar veel artiesten (o.a. Blaudzun, Dinand, Kensington, Wende, Jeangu).

Daarnaast was Red Limo wekelijks te zien als onderdeel van de huisband van Matthijs van Nieuwkerk z’n tv-hit ‘Matthijs Gaat Door’*. Op 17 maart 2022 speelden ze met ‘Matthijs Gaat Door In Concert’ in een uitverkocht Ziggo Dome.

Vanuit het buitenland meldde wereldster Eddie Vedder zich in 2018. De Pearl Jam voorman was zo onder de indruk dat hij Red Limo Quartet meenam als zijn begeleidingskwartet op zijn solo wereldtournee. De laatste show daarvan was in Wembley Stadium in London, in het voorprogramma van The Who.

Tijdens deze theatertournee onder de naam Red Limo Quartet, an offbeat Movie Night pakt het kwartet het iets kleiner aan dat bij dat stadiongeweld. Bekende soundtracks en eigen stukken in een soundtrack- en movie score vibe zijn het anker in een voorstelling die je meeneemt op een filmisch avontuur!

After having played with the biggest names from home and abroad for more than 15 years, Red Limo Quartet are finally taking center stage themselves. A string quartet that has what it takes to sound like a complete band. They have a unique sound that ranges from very small to incredibly big. 

Once they were part of Kyteman Orchestra and they jointly played all major stages in the Netherlands, up to the mainstages of Pinkpop and Lowlands. This was followed by collaborations with numerous other artists (including Blaudzun, Dinand, Kensington, Wende and Jeangu). 

In addition, Red Limo featured weekly as part of the house band of Matthijs van Nieuwkerk's TV talk show 'Matthijs Gaat Door'*. On March 17, 2022, they played with 'Matthijs Gaat Door In Concert' in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. 

In 2018, world star Eddie Vedder contacted them from abroad. Pearl Jam’s front man was so impressed that Red Limo Quartet became his accompanying quartet on his solo world tour. The last show of the tour was at Wembley Stadium in London, as supporting act of The Who. 

This theater tour, called Red Limo Quartet, an offbeat Movie Night, is of a somewhat smaller scale than the stadium concerts they have played before. During this show, Red Limo Quartet is taking you on a cinematic adventure with familiar soundtracks and their own musical pieces in a soundtrack and movie score vibe setting!
